Wider Web Lingo: Voice

There's a lot of lingo around the wider web so this is one of a series of short definition posts.

Voice: Phrases or other vocal noises that can be recognized and used as input

Computers are getting pretty good at understanding what we say. The wider web will be used in a variety of situations where using a wand or a keyboard and mouse is not possible or just annoying, so wider web apps will react to what we say.

Voice is one of the three new input types on the wider web:

The other input types are wands and gestures.
